One of the more exciting things to do when moving into a new home is furniture shopping. There are many different types of couches and sofas which can make shopping for a sofa an exhausting task. With having to make the decision between a sectional sofa, lawson style sofa or that adorable love seat, you may feel exhausted after your first trip to the store.
One thing I love to do is to look through different store catalogs, or better yet, go to the many furniture stores available so you can see and feel which style draws your attention the most. This is the exact reason why furniture store trips turn into adventures that are always longer than expected.
Also, there is no better way to confirm your choice than to sit on your couch and make sure it is comfortable. The worst feeling is going to sit on a sofa that looks incredibly soft, but when you sit down, it feels like you just plopped down on cement.
